When shopping for a business, very often investors ask me to provide them with information that would assist them to make a decision to buy a convenience store, restaurant, banquet hall, beauty parlour, hairdresser, copy centre, dollar store, select sandwich, quiznos, tim hortons, macdonald, subway, red lobster, swiss chalet, pakmail, etc.. These are the guidelines I provide my clients when they are looking to invest in a business:
- Meet with your financial advisor and discuss your plans with him/her.
- Prepare a Business Plan and discuss the same with your financial advisor.
- Meet with your banker and obtain a mortgage pre-approval based on your financial strategy.
- Discuss with family and friends your business plans to obtain an "unbiased" feedback.
- Once you have made up your mind on the type of business you want to invest in and the financial outlay, you can call me or email me your requirements, i.e. type of business, location, budget limit, etc. etc.
- After I meet with you and understand your requirements, I will offer you the listings that are on my website, and also provide you with other options. Details can be discussed at that time.
